Dr Salwa Kamourieh, a consultant neurologist, founded Synapse Medical Group, a new centre specialising in treating headaches, migraine, and facial pain.
Located in central London, Synapse Medical Group is dedicated to diagnosing, treating and helping patients manage headaches to improve their quality of life. Rather than just addressing symptoms in isolation, Dr Kamourieh takes a holistic approach to identify the most suitable treatment for each patient.
She has specialised expertise in managing headaches, migraines and facial pain, working with patients including young people from the age of 16. Additionally, Dr Kamourieh has a keen interest in women’s health, particularly regarding how hormonal changes can affect headaches.
